The low moisture property – together with the random distribution of fine decitex fibre – facilitates purification. Very fine decitex fibre, known as micro fibre, may be blended with various decitex to create micronated fabrics, with specialist liquid filtration applications.

Filtration applications include filter fabrics for filter presses used for filtering and dewatering waste water, filter bags for the power generation industry, and vacuum belt filters used in chemical processing to handle volume throughput, particularly in corrosive conditions.

The specifications of our GHT™ fibre are a critical component in achieving the performance parameters on the final filtration product. The addition of various stabilisation systems provides a range of flexible options on enquiry. A minimum quantity of 10 tonnes is applicable for fine decitex fibre.

GHT™ 5.5 fibre offers fine decitex, with extremely high tenacity and crimp index, and low shrinkage. The fibres may be prepared with special lubricants with hydrophilic properties for wet filtration, hydrophobic properties for dry filtration, and an FDA approved spin finish for food filtration.

GHT™ 3.3 fibre offers very fine decitex, with extremely high tenacity and crimp index, and low shrinkage. The fibres may be prepared with special lubricants with hydrophilic properties for wet filtration, hydrophobic properties for dry filtration, and an FDA approved spin finish for food filtration.

GHT™ 2.2 fibre offers a micro decitex, with extremely high tenacity and crimp index, and low shrinkage. The fibres may be prepared with special lubricants with hydrophilic properties for wet filtration, hydrophobic properties for dry filtration, and an FDA approved spin finish for food filtration.
